Privacy Policy
BrainVert is built so that your data stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what is and isn't collected.
Last updated: August 11, 2026
The short version
Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser. The text you type, the numbers you enter, and the results you generate are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to our servers. We do not have user accounts, we do not have a database of user input, and we cannot see what you calculate or generate.
What we do collect
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. Specifically:
- Google Analytics 4 — collects aggregated usage data such as page views, approximate geographic region, device type, browser, and referring site. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device for this purpose.
- Vercel Analytics — collects aggregated page view data without using cookies and without building a cross-site profile of you.
- Server logs — our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records standard request data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and reliability. These logs are retained for a limited period.
None of this data is linked to the content you enter into a tool, because that content never leaves your browser in the first place.
Cookies
The only cookies currently set on this site come from Google Analytics. You can block or delete them at any time through your browser settings without affecting any tool on this site — every tool works fine with cookies disabled. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's official opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
We may display advertising on this site in the future. If and when we do, third-party advertising vendors — potentially including Google — may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. This policy will be updated before any advertising is enabled, and this section will name the vendors in use.
Local storage
A small number of tools may store your preferences in your browser's local storage so your settings persist between visits. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because we hold no user accounts and no records of tool input, in practice the only data that could relate to you is the aggregated analytics described above. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your data, can be raised through our contact page.
