Discount Calculator
Find the final price after any percentage discount
About this tool
This free discount calculator shows you the final sale price and total savings for any item marked down by a percentage. Enter the original price and the discount percentage — say $120 with 25% off — and instantly see the discounted price ($90) and how much you save ($30).
Discount calculators are most useful during big shopping events: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, end-of-season clearance, and holiday sales. When a store shows "40% off" but you need to decide quickly whether it fits your budget, this tool removes the mental math so you can focus on whether the deal is actually worth it.
You can also work backwards: if you know the sale price and want to find the original, just divide the sale price by (1 − discount/100). For example, a $75 item after 25% off was originally $100. Knowing this is handy when sale prices are advertised without the original — sometimes called "percent off vs. dollar off" comparisons.
Stacked discounts — like an extra 10% off an already-discounted item — do not add linearly. A 20% discount followed by a 10% discount gives 28% total, not 30%. For multi-step discounts, run the calculator twice: first apply the bigger discount, then apply the second discount to the result.
